Context

Artificial Analysis reported in an October 6, 2026 post that ElevenLabs' Eleven v4 Turbo ranks first on its Provider Voice text-to-speech arena. The leaderboard uses Elo ratings, scores that move with head-to-head comparisons. Turbo has 1,334 over 1,645 appearances, ahead of Eleven v4 at 1,321. The post attaches a margin of +19/-19 to Turbo's score, which is larger than the 13-point lead, so on these numbers the ranking does not clearly separate the two.

The clearer differences are price and speed. The post lists Turbo at $40 per million characters against $80 for v4, and 96 characters generated per second against 84. On the separate Controlled Voice board Turbo is second at 1,173, behind Alibaba's Qwen-Audio-3.1-TTS-Plus at 1,181, and on pronunciation robustness it scores 90.1 percent, behind v4 at 91.7. These are Artificial Analysis's figures as of that post.
