About
Free browser game with five fictional awkward conversations. Choose a preset reply or write your own, then game rules turn Jev judgments into Social HP. Current public configuration selects Jev, but live scoring was not tested. Challenge links omit replies; single-round cards or share messages can include them.
At a glance
UH OH is a short conversation game: answer five awkward fictional questions, then see how much “Social HP” survives. Try it if you enjoy choosing between a reassuring reply, a risky joke and something you write yourself. The appeal is comparing how a line might land in the supplied scene. Its score is entertainment, not evidence of emotional intelligence or advice about a real relationship.
Good fit
An untimed solo diversion or a challenge to compare with friends. The current English pack moves from relationship hypotheticals to a meeting mistake and a family dinner. Situations and preset replies are authored for the game; Jev from TypeSafe AI supplies judgments, and game rules convert them into HP. Locale packs are offered for eight regions/languages, with their own social contexts.
Consider something else when
You want a serious communication assessment, a reliable script for a real dispute, or feedback based on the full history of a relationship. A short fictional scene cannot supply that context. The site also has a simulated demo mode, so a demo result cannot establish how Jev would judge the same sentence.
Start here
Choose a culture pack and press PLAY UH OH. You start at 50 HP with five rounds; play ends sooner if HP reaches zero. Picking a preset submits it immediately. For your own line, use the writing field and SEND IT. Read the feedback before advancing. The configuration and current English pack were checked, but no judgment or full browser run was completed for this guide.
Cost and requirements
The published game is free in the browser, with no signup, download or personal API key required. It still needs its online scoring service. The current public configuration selects Jev; that is a configuration fact, not a verified successful judgment. Loading, network or scoring errors can interrupt a run.
Limits to know
Replies go to the game server, and its brief privacy page says Jev processes them. It does not explain server retention or deletion in detail, so keep confidential information out of custom replies. The inspected analytics code sends bounded game events rather than raw answer text. Challenge links omit replies, but single-round cards and share messages can include the answer shown in the preview. Check that preview before sharing; sharing and scoring were not tested here.

Why it made the leaderboard
May appeal as an untimed conversation joke or a challenge with friends, with authored situations and room to try an original line. Scores reflect the game’s limited scene and rules, not emotional intelligence or advice for a real dispute. Review single-round share previews and avoid confidential details in custom replies.
