About
Jexxa is a macOS app that performs on-device speech-to-text dictation: holding a key while speaking transcribes audio locally through a downloaded model, and no audio or transcript ever leaves the Mac. It learns names and jargon from user corrections, supports voice commands to undo dictated lines, and keeps working with no network connection since transcription happens entirely on-device.
Why it made the leaderboard
On-device macOS dictation that types where your cursor is in roughly 200ms, learns your names and jargon, and never sends audio or transcripts off the machine, useful for anyone dictating prompts to a coding agent without a cloud round trip.
