Sunday Drive

At a glance

Sunday Drive is a browser driving game set in a sixteen-block city. Traffic stops at red lights, pedestrians wait at the kerb, the weather changes and a clock runs from dawn to night. By default you just wander. Pressing N turns on police, speed limits, fines, fares, parcel deliveries and races. Named spots include a six-level car park, a race track, a hill road, a ring road and Willow Mall.

Good fit

People who like aimless driving games and small simulated worlds, or who want a quick look at a city sandbox that runs in the browser. Rules mode adds light goals (fares, deliveries, races) for players who want something to aim for.

Consider something else when

You need documented touch controls or multiplayer. The published welcome guide describes keyboard play; it does not establish support for those features.

Start here

W and S are the pedals, A and D steer, and Space is the handbrake. Press C to cycle cameras: the second puts you behind the wheel with a working mirror and dials. Tab opens the map. At a standstill, F gets you out, and F at a stopped car takes it, including the bus.

Cost and requirements

Open the game in a JavaScript-enabled browser. The landing flow presents no purchase or sign-in requirement. The welcome guide says money, cars and best laps save as you play.

Limits to know

The welcome guide does not specify minimum hardware or where saved progress is stored. Treat the keyboard controls as the documented starting point; phone and gamepad support are not established.
