Cursor is now part of @SpaceX. Today, we have officially closed our acquisition.

The editor a lot of teams standardized on now shares ownership and engineering direction with a frontier model lab, which bears on model routing, data handling, and where Cursor's development attention goes.

• model routing — Sending each request to a model chosen by the difficulty of the task, rather than using one model for everything.
• attention — The mechanism that lets a model weigh which earlier words matter for the word it's currently processing — the core operation of a transformer.
