Improving GPT‑5.6 Sol in ChatGPT—and expanding access to GPT-5.6 Luna for free users

OpenAI's August 6 ChatGPT update gave Plus and Pro users a slider for choosing how much reasoning Sol applies to an answer. Free and Go users were promised unlimited Luna text chats, with separate limits for uploads, images and other tools. The announcement applies to Chat; Work and Codex were unchanged.
