Runway presents Aleph 2.0 and Edit Studio as a way to define a video edit through an image before generating the edited clip. A user changes a frame, previews the desired appearance, and asks the model to carry that change into the relevant parts of the footage. The launch announcement specifies clips up to 30 seconds at 1080p.
That gives an editor a visual reference for a product swap, lighting change or other revision before committing to the full video generation. Runway says the model can apply edits across relevant shots and preserve unrelated content. Those are product claims, rather than independently measured guarantees of editing fidelity.
