Aleph 2.0 lands in the Runway API for programmatic video edits

Runway has exposed Aleph 2.0 through its API, letting developers incorporate video editing into their own applications. The announcement specifies clips up to 30 seconds at 1080p, including sequences containing multiple shots.

The model is intended to make targeted changes while preserving the surrounding footage. API access gives product teams a way to request those edits from software, which is useful when editing needs to be part of an application’s existing process. The stated preservation capability remains the company's claim.
