Claude In Xcode

Anthropic announced on September 15, 2025 that developers could connect a Claude account to Xcode 26, Apple's app-development environment, to power coding features with Claude Sonnet 4. Its announcement describes an assistant that gathers context from the project and supports conversation history and file attachments to help debug, refactor and build features, plus tools for generating documentation, explaining highlighted code, creating SwiftUI previews and making inline edits in the editor. Access uses a Claude plan that includes Claude Code (Pro, Max, or premium Team and Enterprise seats), and subscription usage limits are shared across platforms, with a portion available through Xcode.
