Reka AI’s September 2025 update described a Vision API that turns uploaded footage into something applications can search and question. The announcement says an initial processing step analyzes scenes, audio and textual cues and retains a representation of the uploaded material. Subsequent natural-language searches can return timestamps for requested objects or activities, while a question-answering interface queries the same content. The useful distinction is between processing a video and later retrieving information from it: an application can direct someone to a relevant moment without asking them to inspect the entire recording.
