Enterprise AI software has to fit a buyer's access controls and data terms to become usable. A hedge-fund technology buyer's published talk description recounts integrations requiring excessive permissions and beta terms allowing data retention. These are examples from his personal buying experience. His broader argument is that agents inherit the organization's existing permissions, integrations and operating processes. For a vendor, demonstrating a useful model capability therefore answers only part of the purchase question: the buyer also needs to understand what the product can access, what it retains and how it fits the work already underway.
