Relace Repos

Relace Repos, introduced in October 2025, combines Git-compatible code storage with search intended to help coding agents locate relevant files. Its retrieval process first uses numerical representations of code, called embeddings, to select candidate files, then applies a more expensive ranking model to that smaller set. The service manages indexing as the code changes. The product article describes this as a way to supply an initial selection of relevant files before an agent continues with ordinary file reading and text searches.
