Context
The official FLUX connection makes image generation available as a tool inside an AI assistant. Black Forest Labs announced support for clients including Anthropic's Claude and Cursor, and says the routes a request to a suitable FLUX model during the conversation. The announcement positions this for work such as website visuals and product renders, and BFL's help article describes generating and editing images from inside compatible apps without writing API code. The assistant can therefore request the visual asset as part of the same task, rather than only writing a prompt for the user to transfer elsewhere.
