Engineering Linkedins Hiring Assistant For International Markets

LinkedIn's French and German Hiring Assistant launch required language rules to reach the prompts that generate recruiters' responses. In a June 2026 engineering post, the company describes capturing grammar, tone and local conventions in shared rules reviewed by linguists. A pipeline then applies the relevant rules when adapting each English prompt.

For smaller models that still fell short, LinkedIn trained language-specific adapters: small learned additions to a shared model. Automated judges check outputs against the same rules, while linguists validate the rules and review samples. LinkedIn says this makes language expertise reusable across the assistant's components and allows prompt updates to propagate across supported languages.
