Context
Sakana AI announced Claude Code-compatible endpoints for Fugu, so developers can run Fugu from the terminal workflow of Anthropic's Claude Code coding tool. The release article describes keeping that familiar workflow while Fugu coordinates a team of underlying models for coding tasks.
In practice this places Sakana's model coordination behind requests from an existing coding client, so developers reach it without changing tools. The release accompanied Fugu-Ultra v1.1, an update to the orchestration system. This explanation covers the access path only: the release does not give setup steps, and Sakana's performance claims for v1.1 are its own and are not evaluated here.
