Hacktron AI is offering qualifying open-source maintainers security reviews of proposed code changes. Its program announcement describes a GitHub App that reviews pull requests opened by maintainers and places findings beside the relevant lines, with context for reproducing the issue.

The workflow is intended to surface security problems while changes are being reviewed. The company says findings close automatically when fixes arrive. Access requires an application from a repository owner or administrator able to install the app; the announcement prioritizes actively maintained projects with meaningful downstream usage. The offer is therefore a review service for accepted projects, rather than an unrestricted scan available to every repository.
