ESCA, a social-media analysis system developed by Sakana AI, organizes posts by the interpretations they express. The session moderator’s June 22, 2026 report of a May 22 presentation describes the system extracting these interpretations at the level of meaning and calling them “narratives.” Posts about the same event can express different narratives, such as suspicions of censorship or organized information manipulation.

In the reported interface, analysts can expand a narrative to inspect more specific related groups and view associated post timelines.
