Claude Code weekly limits settle 17% below today's temporary boost

Starting September 14, we're permanently raising standard weekly limits in Claude Code by 25% for Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise plans. Until then, the current 50% increase will be in place.
Compared to today, this works out to a 17% reduction in weekly limits on Claude Code. We’re working on exciting changes that will make it feel like you’re getting more from Claude, while having more visibility and control of your usage. Can’t wait to share them.

Context
Anthropic's announced Claude Code allowance is higher than the original standard but lower than the temporary boost. Its August 29 announcement set standard weekly limits at 25% above the original level from September 14, replacing an interim 50% increase for Pro, Max, Team and seat-based Enterprise plans.
Indexing the original allowance to 100 makes the change clear: the temporary level was 150 and the announced permanent level is 125. Moving from 150 to 125 is a reduction of about 16.7%, while 125 remains 25% above the starting point. Both percentages describe the same permanent level measured against different baselines.
