Expanding Project Glasswing

Anthropic says its June 2, 2026 expansion of Project Glasswing extends access to Claude Mythos Preview, a model partners use to scan their software for security vulnerabilities, to approximately 150 more organizations, many of them providers of critical infrastructure. Anthropic names verifying, disclosing and patching as the bottleneck now that models can surface large numbers of vulnerabilities. It says many partners already use Mythos Preview to write patches and run pre-release checks, and that it is in discussions with third parties about scaling up review and patching of open-source flaws and is working on practices for disclosing them to maintainers.
