Context
Teaching an AI to improve code through test results first requires software projects that actually run. Poolside describes an execution platform that packages repositories with their dependencies and establishes how to build them, run tests, and measure test coverage. This gives training tasks a working starting point, so failures can provide useful feedback about proposed changes.
Fixed build rules struggle when dependencies or instructions appear only in documentation. Poolside describes supplementing those rules with an that reads instructions, uses tools, and retries failed builds. The agent helps prepare more repositories for the same execution-based training process. The engineering account explains that preparation mechanism without quantifying its effect on the final model's coding ability.
