Overview
Poolside is a Paris and San Francisco AI company founded by Jason Warner and Eiso Kant to build foundation models for software development. Its product strategy combines proprietary enterprise systems with open Laguna coding models.
Laguna uses mixture-of-experts architectures trained for long-horizon repository work, terminal interaction, and coding agents. Poolside also builds its own training environments and reinforcement-learning infrastructure around executable software tasks.
