📣Today, @AntGroup AI Security Lab and Tsinghua University open-source ClawAegis, a lightweight security framework for autonomous AI agents like #OpenClaw. 🚒ClawAegis delivers multi-layered defense across the agent’s lifecycle, actively blocking threats such as malicious instruction injection and memory poisoning. It integrates seamlessly as a native plugin. Building on our recent collaboration to patch critical vulnerabilities, we’re thrilled to continue working with the @openclaw community to shape a safer future for autonomous AI🚀🦞 🔧Try out: https://t.co/HmS741JQI5 #opensource #AISecurity #AIAgent

Context
An autonomous coding that reads files, browses the web and executes commands can be attacked through the content it processes: a hidden instruction in a webpage or a poisoned entry in its own memory can redirect what it does next. Ant Group's AI Security Lab, working with Tsinghua University and released through Ant Open Source, open-sourced ClawAegis, a lightweight security framework built as a native plugin for agents like OpenClaw. The team describes it as providing layered defense across the agent's lifecycle, specifically targeting instruction injection and memory poisoning, and says it continues an earlier collaboration in which the same groups patched vulnerabilities in the underlying agent framework.
