Addy Osmani is an Irish engineering and evangelism leader who spent over 14 years at Google, most recently as a Director, leading developer experience across Chrome and AI (Gemini and agentic engineering). He is widely known for his contributions to Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, and Core Web Vitals, as well as for authoring the widely read O'Reilly book "Learning JavaScript Design Patterns." His work has spanned open-source tooling, web performance advocacy, and collaborations with major platforms to advance the modern developer experience.
