Career
Taylor founded Los Feliz Engineering, which built the real-time messaging app Honk and the self-custody wallet Family. After Aave Labs acquired the company, he served as its chief product officer. He later led design at Base, Coinbase’s blockchain division. His biography, updated in August2026, places him at SpaceX as Head of Design for X and SpaceXSI. Alongside those roles, he publishes software and essays about the details of interaction design.[1]

Feedback that points to an interface element
Agentation turns a visual annotation into structured information a coding agent can use. A person clicks an element or selects text, writes feedback and copies context such as selectors, position and the selected string. That gives the agent a way to locate the intended code rather than interpret an ambiguous description. Taylor’s introduction explains how he used this loop repeatedly to build the demonstrations and documentation. The tool also handles cases such as multiple elements, empty regions and paused animations.[3]
Motion around a changing value
Liveline is a React component for live charts. A developer supplies time-stamped data and the latest value; a canvas renderer interpolates between updates so a feed can move smoothly even when new data arrives less frequently. Optional features include multiple series, time windows, reference lines and candlesticks. The component keeps the basic live-line use case small while allowing additional information to be layered into the same view.[4]
