@pidotdev

Pi (@pidotdev) is the official account for Pi, an open-source, terminal-based AI coding agent and extensible harness created by Austrian software engineer Mario Zechner (known as badlogic, creator of the libGDX game framework) and first released in 2025. The project ships with a deliberately minimal core of just four built-in tools, pushing nearly all functionality into a TypeScript extension and skills system so developers can reshape it around their own workflows. In 2026 the project was acquired by Earendil Inc., a public benefit corporation co-founded by Armin Ronacher (creator of Flask), where Zechner joined as a stakeholder to continue developing it.
