Context
The August 20 post previews Anthropic's enterprise safeguards for Fable, with customer control over where data resides and who can access it. It describes development alongside roughly 100 companies and an intended broader rollout in the fall. Those companies were development collaborators; the announcement does not establish general availability.
Anthropic's September 1 explanation, covered in the later Enterprise Frontier Safeguards item, clarifies the design: monitoring data can stay in the customer's cloud account, and automated systems send suspected misuse to the customer's reviewers. The intended benefit is keeping storage and human review of flagged activity under enterprise control.
