DeepSeek V4 Pro now runs updated weights on AI Gateway

Vercel said its AI Gateway now runs updated weights for the existing DeepSeek V4 Pro model identifier. According to the changelog, applications calling deepseek/deepseek-v4-pro receive the update without changing their code. The consequence is that keeping this model identifier unchanged does not keep the underlying model version fixed: an application can receive a model update through the gateway even when its own configuration stays the same.
