Context

OpenRouter's July 30 post combined price cuts from OpenAI with an additional 50% platform discount it called exclusive. Its announcement listed GPT-5.6 Luna at $0.10 per million input and $0.60 per million output tokens, and Terra at $1 and $6 respectively. Those were promotional rates: the company's later retrospective describes a discount program that ran July 27 to August 14. The historical offer should therefore be distinguished from a standing price commitment.
