Runway @runwayml is now on OpenRouter, starting with Aleph 2.0 and Gen-4.5. Edit existing footage or generate a new scene with the same API. More on each below ↓ https://t.co/ifgmxa8F33

Aleph 2.0: Get the video you need from the video you already have. Edit one frame to look the way you want, then apply that direction consistently across the rest of the video. https://t.co/ykbxBsL3mO

Gen-4.5: Generate controllable, cinematic, and consistent video with precise prompt adherence and advanced motion quality across diverse generation modes. https://t.co/y6aJS1TxUU

Context

Runway's Aleph 2.0 starts with footage a creator already has. The creator edits one frame to establish the desired appearance, then the same direction is applied across the rest of the video. OpenRouter's launch thread presents that workflow alongside Gen-4.5, which generates new scenes through the same API.

The distinction is the starting material. Aleph is for transforming an existing shot, while Gen-4.5 supplies a generation route. A shared API means an application can offer both operations without treating them as interchangeable.
