Context
Runway's Dev connects a coding to a developer-platform account so it can look up tasks and manage platform settings during development. The announcement names task lookup and Model Router setup as supported work, bringing those operations into the agent's existing development session.
The current connection guide adds that agents can read documentation and authenticate through a browser without placing an API key in the MCP configuration. It also distinguishes this developer-account connector from the separate Runway connector for generating media in chat. Choosing the developer connector gives the agent access to the account-management workflow described in the announcement.
