Context
Deepgram's Voice API added Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 5 as a managed model for the agent's thinking step. The changelog shows the selection under agent.think.provider, using anthropic as the provider type and claude-sonnet-5 as the model.
That makes the announcement a choice of conversational within the voice service. Deepgram lists it as an Advanced tier model and says it delivers improved reasoning and conversational quality, but the entry provides no measuring those gains.
