Introducing Claude Tag

Claude Tag brings shared task delegation into a team conversation. In its June 2026 beta launch for Claude Enterprise and Team customers, Anthropic described a single Claude in a Slack channel that any member can tag, follow as it works, and continue interacting with after another colleague starts a task. It builds context from the channels it is in, and from other channels and data sources if it is granted permission, so users do not have to re-explain background. According to the announcement, administrators define which tools and information it can use in which channels, and its memories stay scoped to those channels. The product's central change is a shared, continuing work context that supports delegation across a team.
