@Kimi_Moonshot is the official account of Kimi.ai, the assistant and large language model family built by Moonshot AI. Moonshot AI is a Beijing-based artificial intelligence company founded in March 2023 by Tsinghua University classmates Yang Zhilin, Zhou Xinyu and Wu Yuxin, focused on foundation models and long-context reasoning. Backed by investors including Alibaba and Tencent, it has become one of China's most prominent AI labs and releases much of its Kimi model line under open weights.

Moonshot released the weights for Kimi K3.1 Pro, a 2.8T-parameter MoE (104B active) multimodal agentic model with 1M context and MXFP4 quantization-aware training. The model card lists self-reported coding, agent and cyber benchmarks, API access, vLLM and SGLang support, and a reasoning_effort contr
Moonshot renamed Kimi WebBridge to Kimi Browser Extension. It pairs a local service using Chrome DevTools Protocol with a sidebar assistant, form filling, and step recording that saves repetitive web tasks as reusable agent skills.
Moonshot releases Kimi K3.1 Pro, a 2.8T-parameter MoE with 1M context, plus a faster Highspeed variant. Vendor-reported results include 65.7% on Terminal-Bench 4.0. Weights are due by Nov 4, and the post details cyber-data removal during training.
Moonshot's open-weight Kimi K3 is now on Amazon Bedrock with a 1M-token context, native vision, explicit prompt caching, six reasoning effort levels, and tiered pricing. AWS documents Converse API limitations, so agent frameworks should prefer the OpenAI-compatible endpoints.
Kimi's browser extension (formerly WebBridge) lets you chat from the sidebar to navigate sites and fill forms, and record a workflow once to save as a reusable skill the agent replays later. Live now on Kimi's site and the Chrome Web Store.
Moonshot's Kimi added 3D Make, which connects the assistant to Blender and CAD tools to create models, assemble scenes and develop games. It is available on the Kimi site and Kimi Work. The announcement gives no benchmarks or technical detail.
Moonshot AI acknowledges rate-limit and quota-consumption problems on the K3.1 Pro subscription plan. All subscribers get a one-time reset restoring 25% of monthly quota, and plan parameters now limit unnecessary subagent calls and output length.
Moonshot's Kimi Work now has a Remote Control mode. You leave the agent app running on your computer and keep working with it from your phone. The announcement is short and its demo video was not readable, so setup, security and limits are not covered.
