ElevenLabs is an AI voice-technology research lab founded in London in 2022 by childhood friends Mati Staniszewski and Piotr Dąbkowski, both originally from Poland. Staniszewski, a former Palantir deployment strategist, serves as CEO, while Dąbkowski, an ex-Google machine learning engineer, is CTO. The company builds neural text-to-speech, voice-cloning, and multilingual AI dubbing technology, and had grown to roughly $200 million in annual recurring revenue by mid-2025.
