1/ Today we're announcing Omarchy on Cua Cloud Fleets. To our knowledge, it's the first managed Omarchy cloud sandbox for Codex, Claude Code, Hermes and OpenClaw. Provision a Hyprland desktop with the Cua Sandbox SDK. Control it with Cua Driver MCP. Available now to eligible Fleet accounts at:

2/ Omarchy is built around Arch Linux and Hyprland. We wanted the real desktop and not an Omarchy-themed container. So Fleet boots it as a KubeVirt VM, from a full system disk at /disk/disk.img

3/ The build path looks like this: Arch Linux → pinned Omarchy → unattended Hyprland → Cua services → flattened qcow2 → KubeVirt containerDisk. OCI moves the artifact and KubeVirt boots the VM inside it.
Context
Cua says it now offers a managed Omarchy desktop (Arch Linux running the Hyprland window compositor) on its Cloud Fleets platform, for coding agents such as Codex, Claude Code, Hermes and OpenClaw. In its announcement thread, Cua says it wanted the real desktop rather than an Omarchy-themed container, so Fleet boots it as a KubeVirt virtual machine from a full system disk. The build path runs from Arch Linux through a pinned Omarchy version, an unattended Hyprland setup and Cua's own services to a flattened disk image shipped as a container image.
Each exposes two services: a server on port 8000 for screenshots, shell, keyboard, mouse and clipboard, and a Cua Driver endpoint on port 3000. Cua lists Hyprland, screenshots, click and keyboard input, clipboard round-tripping, workspace hotkeys and active-window details as working out of the box, with the image pinned by an immutable digest. Access is for eligible Fleet accounts, and Fleet admission and image availability are required.
