1/ Hermes can now launch Cua Spaces. When a task needs a computer, Hermes creates a Space on your Mac, Windows PC or Linux box, does the work there, and deletes it when it's done. You and your team can jump into the same Space while it works.
Context
Agents like Nous Research's Hermes often need a real computer for part of a job, to open an app, use a browser or run software. Cua's answer is the Space. In Cua's documentation, a Space is one desktop set up for a task on a computer the user owns or rents, run as a container, a virtual machine or the computer's own desktop. Cua does not rent computers itself; it supplies the app, the sharing and a relay that lets other devices reach those machines.
According to Cua's announcement, Hermes can now create these on demand: when a task needs a computer, it starts a Space on the user's Mac, Windows PC or Linux machine, does the work there and deletes it when finished. The user and teammates can open the same Space and watch or join in while the agent works, and Cua's overview says you can take over whenever you want. Cua's setup guide lists Hermes among the agents that can connect to Spaces through Cua's server.
This follows Cua's launch the previous day of the Spaces SDK, which it pitched as a way to put Claude Code, Codex or any agent on compute the user chooses rather than a lab's hosted machine (earlier Intel). The Hermes integration is one application of that idea. The demo video and the rest of the announcement thread were not available for this explanation, so setup details beyond Cua's general documentation are not covered here.
