OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announced GPT-6 Astra, describing it as OpenAI's best model yet for computer use, professional work, science, coding and cybersecurity, and saying the company took extra time on the release to meet its safety and standards for the model's capability level. The post cites three scores: 98% on FrontierMath Tier 4, a graduate-level math ; 99.9% on ARC-AGI 3, a reasoning benchmark; and 100% on ExploitBench, a cybersecurity exploit-development benchmark. These are OpenAI's own reported numbers in the launch post, without methodology or an independent replication linked here.
