This GitHub identifier ('cursor') corresponds to Anysphere, Inc., the company behind the Cursor AI code editor, rather than an individual person. Anysphere was founded in 2022 by four MIT classmates, Michael Truell, Sualeh Asif, Arvid Lunnemark, and Aman Sanger, and Cursor grew into a widely used AI coding assistant that reportedly reached a $29.3 billion valuation by late 2025.
