Context
Perplexity brought Computer into the side panels of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook through add-ins. Users can ask it to work on documents and spreadsheets while drawing on web research and connected files, keeping the request alongside the material being edited. The company's integration article describes installing the add-ins and signing in to use Computer within those applications. The works in the application where the material already sits.
