Perplexity's June 10 announcement made Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 available to Pro and Max subscribers as an orchestrator in Computer. This assigns it a coordinating role within a task. The announcement establishes access; the company's July product explanation clarifies that an orchestrator plans the work, routes subtasks to tools and other models, and combines their results. Choosing this model therefore affects how a multi-step job is organized as well as how its final answer is written.
