Mercury Coder is now in @zeddotdev for next edit predictions. Most LLMs generate code one token at a time. Mercury uses diffusion, refining the whole output in parallel — so suggestions land fast and keep you in flow. Get 1 free month with the API key in the link: https://t.co/w0UO8UWWGO
Context
Zed's February 2026 update made Mercury Coder from Inception an option for predicting a programmer's next edit. Zed handles shared editor behavior, while each provider supplies the model-specific request and response handling. That separation lets users change the prediction model in settings while keeping the editor's suggestion interface. Mercury Coder contributes a diffusion approach that refines output in parallel; the useful product change is the ability to try that approach within an existing editing workflow.
